Who invented pizza?

Pizza

The history of pizza begins in antiquity, when various ancient cultures produced basic flatbreads with several toppings.A precursor of pizza was probably the focaccia, a flat bread known to the Romans as panis focacius, to which toppings were then added.Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy, in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in A.D. 997 in Gaeta and successively in different parts of Central and Southern Italy. Pizza was mainly eaten in Italy and by emigrants from there. This changed after World War II when Allied troops stationed in Italy came to enjoy pizza along with other Italian foods.

Who invented the Internet?

Internet

The internet emerged from military research at the height of the Cold War. In this context, in which the two ideological and politically antagonistic blocs exercised enormous control and influence in the world, any mechanism, any innovation, any new tool could contribute to this dispute led by the Soviet Union and the United States : the two superpowers understood efficiency and absolute necessity of the media. From this perspective, the United States governmenthe feared a Russian attack on military bases. An attack could make sensitive information public, making the US vulnerable. So a model for exchanging and sharing information that would allow for the decentralization of information was created. So if the Pentagon were hit, the information stored there wouldn't be lost. It was therefore necessary to create a network, ARPANET , created by ARPA, acronym for Advanced Research Projects Agency . In 1962 , JCR Licklider , the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), was already talking in terms of creating a Intergalactic Computer Network ( Intergalactic Computer Network in English). The Internet also had other important actors that influenced its emergence, among them: university professors (like Ken King), students (like Vint Cerf ), technology companies (like IBM ) and some US politicians (as Al Gore ); falling, therefore, the thesis that prevailed previously that emphasized only the military aspect of its creation. from Wikipedia
